Member Feature: David Zank, Merchant Management Group

What business do you work for?

I am the General Manager for Merchant Management Group, Bay County’s only local payments technology company.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

I enjoy keeping our current and future Retail Shops, Quick Serve Restaurants, and Table Service Restaurants informed on the latest in payments technology including Tabit, OrderCounter, and Clover.

What brought you to My Space Downtown?

We recently outgrew our current office space and needed a convenient, professional conference room to hold our weekly sales meetings, product demos, client meetings, and sales training.

What is your go-to tip for being the most productive at My Space?

I recommend taking advantage of the other aspects of My Space, such as day passes and virtual mailboxes.

What are you hoping to accomplish or try this year?

In addition to providing the latest in payments technology, we're going to continue to help Retail Shops, Quick Serve Restaurants, and Table Service Restaurants throughout the Gulf Coast reduce, or in some cases even eliminate, their monthly credit card processing fees.

What’s your favorite part about living in Panama City? Any favorite local businesses?

In addition to My Space, we love supporting other downtown Panama City businesses like Hamco, Trigo, Mosey’s, Ferucci, Maddie's La Casita, The Press, Jute & Palm, Caffé Del Mundo, Lazer-It Printing, Tarpon Dock Seafood Market, Waffle Shoppe, and Sage Style & Gift.

If you could add one thing to My Space, what would it be?

Not a thing. Michelle and her staff are very accommodating. Our conference room is always clean and ready for us!
